What drew you to Massage therapy?
I started as a Skin Care Specialist and Makeup Artist in Chicago. I Modeled in NY, France Italy and Japan. After working Internationally Massage became my interest in Japan.
What type of massage do you specialize in?
I learned Deep Tissue, Shiatsu and Pressure points in Japan. Swedish in France and Lomi Lomi and Manual Traction in Hawaii.
Why would you choose this type of massage?
I actually do what I call a Akamai it's a combo of all modalities used where needed. So I choose to make sure you get the exact massage your body needs.
How do your talents benefit your patients?
Because of my extensive work in various countries I have developed techniques that have combined European, Asian, and American modalities. It is guaranteed to relieve any tension or pain, anxiety, and stress at that time.
What is your favorite health tip to give your patients?
I always encourage my clients to keep moving and watch what you eat. I am also a Chef so nutrition is advice is always given.
What is your favorite hobby outside of work?
I enjoy traveling, cooking, sailing, and a beach anywhere.
What would you tell a patient that is nervous about getting their first massage?
To relax and enjoy the pampering and let me know if anything is uncomfortable. Answer any questions they may have.
