Frequently Asked Questions About Couples Massages
Do we need to be in the same massage room?
Either way is fine. You can enjoy your couple’s massage in one room or, if you wish, you can each be in your own separate room. This is important, though! Please let us know when booking that you request separate rooms and we will prepare for your appointment accordingly. Normally, couples are assigned together in one room.
I'd like to give my husband a gift of massage (his first) and come in with him, but I don't know if he would be interested...
We would recommend buying our online gift certificates or come into our clinic and purchase printed massage gift cards. In the worst case scenario, you could use them for yourself or bring your mom or another family member/friend!
Do you have showers we could use to rinse off after our session?
Although we are a “dry spa,” we have one shower that can be used before and after your massage. We are happy to provide you with towels. Our massage therapists use hot towels to thoroughly wipe off oil and/or lotion at the end of each treatment. Most clients are fine with just the hot towels.

A couples massage may seem a little intimidating at first. You may not feel comfortable being massaged around other people, you and your partner may want different treatments, or you might have other concerns. We are committed to providing the best possible experience, which we have refined over five years with more than 6,500 clients - many of whom came to our clinic for their first massage appointment.
During a couples massage, you will have two therapists in the room working on each of you. If you have a preference as to whether you have a male or female therapist, please make sure to let us know your requirements at the time of booking.
It’s totally fine to request a different type of massage for each of you. If you like to be in separate rooms, please let us know ahead of time so we have a second room available for you.
The most important thing is that you both are comfortable, enjoying yourselves, and leave our clinic feeling happier and more relaxed than when you arrived.
Do you offer any arrangements - like flowers or refreshments - for special occasions?
For special occasions, we offer fresh leis (traditional Hawaiian flower necklaces) at $15 each. If you would like to decorate your massage room in your own way, feel welcome to bring in your own arrangements (flowers, candles, flower petals, balloons, etc.) and come early to set them up before your session to surprise your loved one.
Please let us know about your special occasion at least two days before your session to schedule enough time for the setup and cleanup.
