What drew you to Massage therapy?
I was drawn to massage therapy by a deep desire to help people move beyond their limitations.
After experiencing multiple injuries and illnesses in my teenage years, I became determined to
understand the human body more deeply so I could address my own challenges. That journey
illuminated the profound interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit, inspiring me to help others
find relief and clarity in their own bodies.
What type of massage do you specialize in?
I specialize in deep tissue massage emphasizing functional movement and structural balance. I
incorporate sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and shiatsu to create sessions
that are both restorative and corrective.
Why would you choose this type of massage?
I chose these modalities because they reflect my philosophy of how the body functions and
moves—a foundation shaped by my personal experiences and academic study. While relaxation is
always an important part of my sessions, I focus especially on the transformative effects of addressing
physical restrictions.
Because the body, mind, and spirit are interconnected, releasing tension can create shifts that go
beyond the physical. While a single massage can’t address every system, my path has naturally led me to
modalities that work with structure, fascia, and energetic flow to create meaningful change.
How do your talents benefit your patients?
My work helps clients identify and release long-held tension that limits movement or
contributes to chronic discomfort. I draw on my understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and
movement patterns to focus on corrective outcomes that help clients move, breathe, and feel better.
My own experiences with injuries give me a genuine sense of empathy and insight when
working with pain. I bring a thoughtful awareness to posture, movement, and areas of tension to guide
the work. Above all, I strive to combine solid technique with a mindful, attentive touch that adapts to
each client’s needs.
What is your favorite health tip to give your patients?
My favorite health tip is to slow down and listen to your body. Everyone has their own natural
rhythm, and restoring balance begins with paying attention to how you feel. When you take time to
tune inward and silence external noise, you start to understand what supports your well-being and what
creates tension or imbalance. That awareness can guide you toward healthier choices and a more
aligned life.
What is your favorite hobby outside of work?
My favorite hobbies outside of work include staying active through exercise, exploring music,
and nurturing plants. I also enjoy hands-on projects that keep me creative and engaged, from arts and
crafts to working on cars. When I relax, I enjoy taking scenic walks or drives to slow down and reconnect with the present moment. These activities help me recharge and maintain balance in my body and mind,
which in turn supports my work with clients.
What would you tell a patient that is nervous about getting their first massage?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous before your first massage, and my goal is to make the
experience as comfortable and supportive as possible. I take a client-oriented approach, listening closely
to your symptoms and concerns, and I walk you through what to expect. I work within your personal
comfort levels—from pressure to boundaries—and adjust techniques to support what feels safe and
right for you.
By tuning into your body’s signals, I aim to intuitively address tension and restrictions, helping
you feel relaxed and at ease. Most importantly, I want you to know that your voice is always heard—at
any point during the session, you are encouraged to share feedback so we can ensure the massage feels
right for you.
