Swedish, Thai or Lomi-Lomi. Which Style of Massage is the Most Requested?
|
Dear friends of Hawaii Natural Therapy,
The 2018 holiday season is rapidly approaching. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are knocking on the door! We have for you, our Hawaii Natural Therapy clients, a very exciting newsletter.
Over they years, Hawaii Natural Therapy became the relaxation and rejuvenation oasis for many hardworking local Hawaii business owners. Yana and Joey Cabell, owners of the Chart House Waikiki restaurant, have been with us since we've opened in 2014, and come in regularly. Big mahalo Yana and Joey!
This past summer, we began rolling out our wellness program Ola Loa, and it has been going fantastic. More and more clients commit to having a therapeutic massage at least once a month, and with it they enjoy all the perks that the Ola Loa program has to offer. Today, I'd like to share impressions of one of our fist members, Bridgette Boltowski.
Which massage style is the most popular at our Clinic? This year, the most requested massage style is the Swedish massage, which involves touch of the forearms, elbows, and hands to gently knead your muscles. The secomd most requested modality is the Deep Tissue massage which uses more intense pressure by the therapist's fingertips, followed by Lomi-Lomi, Thai, and Prenatal massage.
I wish you the best for this fall season and hope to see you at the Clinic soon!
Ivana Cablova,
General Manager

Chart House Waikiki Owners Come to Relax to HNT
|
This past summer, our regular clients Yana and Joey Cabell, owners of the iconic Waikiki restaurant, the Chart House, celebrated its 50th anniversary.
The story of the Chart House Waikiki is the story of an excellent vision, hard work, courage, and respect. We are thrilled that Yana and Joey keep coming back to enjoy their rejuvenating massages at Hawaii Natural Therapy.

Ola Loa Membership: Member's Testament
|
In August, we launched our new wellness program OLA LOA. As more and more clients sign up each week, we would like to share a testament from one our first members, Bridgette Boltowski from Honolulu:
I've been going to Hawaii Natural Therapy for 2 years. They are very professional and their massage therapists are great!! Over time, they came up with an app and I started using it more instead of calling or emailing the clinic when I wanted to book a session with them. It's easy to make appointments as after registering your information on the HNT app, the "homepage" is set to a list of massage times and the types of packages you can choose from. You can simply click on one of those options and another list comes up with the available therapists at available times and dates. If you're never sure which therapist to go to, you can be like me and try them at least once or you can check out the list of therapists (also in the app) based on their specialty and the range amount of pressure they do for your massage preference.
Hawaii Natural Therapy also started doing memberships, so if you have to go at least once a month, get involved because they also have very good deals! You can inquire with the clinic by phone or walk-in. You get one "free" massage (based on the type of membership you have) a month, but if you get additional massages, those massages will be at a discounted rate for members rather than at the regular rate set for the public. If you don't use the "free" massage that month, it'll get carried over to the next month, so by then, you can enjoy 2 massages.
Every now and then, I like to spoil myself and get multiple massages a month, so I use the app to make the appointment AND I pay in advance on there, so I don't have to worry about paying right after I finish the session. Because by then, I'll be floating on a cloud of bliss too out of it to function. All I have to worry about is tipping, but usually, when you already have a card saved on file on the app or with the clinic, you can just let the front desk know how much to tip your therapist and they can do it right then and there without you having to lift a finger to find your wallet. They're actually working on putting a tipping system on the app, but either way, it's still convenient for me to be able to access the app to pay in advance for all my sessions and being able to easily make an appointment with a therapist.
My experience with Hawaii Natural Therapy has always been good and I look forward to continuing my relationship with them.

What is the most popular massage style at Hawaii Natural Therapy? In 2018, most of our clients request the Swedish massage that is the best for relaxing. Other popular styles are Lomi-Lomi, Thai, Pregnancy massage, and Deep Tissue. The Deep Tissue massage can be booked as a $15 add-on to our combination massage.
