What drew you to Massage therapy?
I’ve always been into health growing up and was encouraged by my family to start with massage as a way to get into natural health and healing.
What type of massage do you specialize in?
My style is mostly a combination of Swedish, deep tissue and some sports techniques. I utilize different techniques I’ve learned over time depending on the area of the body and what the client needs.
Why did you choose this type of massage?
It was based on what I learned in massage school and then trial and error and learning from others what works or the clients seem to prefer.
How do your talents benefit your patients?
I’ve been told I have a very calming presence and I respond to clients feedback in order to keep the massage having a good flow and transition.
What is your favorite health tip to give your patients?
The biggest thing I tend to recommend is incorporating epsom salt baths in order to help relax and loosen up the muscles at home. It also helps with stress. The other common recommendation with everyone is drink plenty of good water post massage as to assist the lymphatics with eliminating toxins.
What is your favorite hobby outside of work?
I enjoy outdoor activities particularly in the ocean. I prefer surfing as well as jiu jitsu. In between that I also enjoy working out at the gym as Health is a big passion of mine.
