How does the Lymphatic System function?
The lymphatic system is located as a part of the circulatory system in everyone’s body, but more excitingly carry’s interstitial fluids back into the blood circulation. This is a critical part of our optimal health, mobility, and well-being when it is not being taken care of properly.
The lymph capillaries take up fluids that are then transported through larger lymph vessels, and it is then returned to the ordinary blood flow.
If a lymph vessel is not functioning properly, the fluid then builds up in the area underneath the skin, and needs to be pushed away in order to restore proper circulation. This is a crucial process in order to avoid catching dangerous infections, which can lead to worsened conditions.
