What drew you to Massage therapy?
The fact that it is an entirely natural therapy
What type of massage do you specialize in?
I specialize mainly in pain and stress management as well as preventative treatments, which is the Art and Science of Oriental Medicine.
Why did you choose this type of massage?
Acupressure massage utilizes the same Network of points as acupuncture therapy.
How do your talents benefit your patients?
I offer personalized care for the treatment of upper and lower back pain as well as sciatica pain; neck pain and whiplash injuries; all joint pain; chronic headaches and migraines, tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome; and all soft tissue traumas.
What is your favorite health tip to give your patients?
A healthy lifestyle that supports the wellbeing of Mind, Body, and Spirit is the best preventative medicine. For the things we suffer from that are beyond our control, Natural Medicine is the first best option.
What is your favorite hobby outside of work?
Music, Meditation, and Chanting; as it is also a powerful medium for healing and wellness. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
What would you tell a patient that is nervous about getting their first massage?
The needles are almost as thin as a hair shaft, therefore minimal sensation is felt. If one chooses, I can apply acu-therapy without needles using modern technology, so both options are available. All that is required of the patient is to lie still comfortably, relax, and let the healing begin. After all traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the oldest and most sophisticated forms of medicine the world has known.
